I'm Tamika-Marie, Founder of Millennium Budget Consulting and TMB Tax & Associates. As a black American woman, I learned at an early age, that financial education was my way to level the playing field. How I went about acquiring that education cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars. A little trial and error too, but I knew enough to get by. I paid my bills on time the minimum card balance on my revolving accounts etc. Simple adulting stuff, and then life happened.

I went through a terrible divorce that nearly left me knocking on bankruptcy's door with an infant. I was homeless, penniless, and jobless with my premature baby, a million-dollar hospital bill and so much debt I fell into a depression. I was a MESS! I had to make the decision to take accountability for my relationship with money and I had to re-evaluate and unlearn so many bad habits.

It's been 17 years since I looked in the mirror and decided to change my life and it's been 5 years since I set out to build out this program so that I can change yours!
